Blackmail Operation Unmasked

Salient Strategic was contacted by an attorney partner who was concerned about a longstanding client and newsworthy CEO who was recently threatened with blackmail material of an intimate nature.

We traced the threat to the source – the current boyfriend of a former love interest, out to prove a point, and profit simultaneously. The challenge was in engineering a way to legally and ethically mitigate the threat without bringing attention to our client.

A testament to our capabilities: the client is in possession of the only copy of the media file, no laws were violated, and the entire situation has been resolved.
