Protecting A Client From A Disgruntled Former Employee

Salient Strategic was approached by the board of a major New York hospital. A former employee had made a death threat toward one of the board members after his termination— a threat believed to be credible.

We immediately began working on locating the subject, while simultaneously working up an in depth background investigation. We quickly uncovered a fact pattern indicative of a heightened risk, based largely on the subject’s military background, run-ins with law enforcement, and known access to firearms. Under surveillance, the subject made multiple passes by the residence of our client indicating that an attack might be imminent.
